Potter’s Stages Privacy Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
Potter’s Stages is an app for tracking pottery pieces from idea to finished. It’s made by Patrick Turner. The short version: the app doesn’t collect any data about you, and I can’t see anything you put in it.
What the app stores, and where
Your pieces, notes, inspiration links and photos are saved on your device and in your own private iCloud account, so they appear on your other Apple devices. Apple holds that iCloud data under your Apple Account; it isn’t sent to me or to anyone else, and I have no way to read it.
What the app doesn’t do
- No accounts or sign-ups.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party code in the app.
- No location, contacts or other personal information.
Camera, photos and sharing
The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo of a piece. Photos you pick from your library, and links or images you share into the app from other apps, are saved with your pieces as described above and nowhere else.
Backups
If you use Export Backup, the app creates a file with your pieces and photos and saves it wherever you choose. It isn’t uploaded anywhere by the app.
Deleting your data
Delete a piece in the app to remove it everywhere it syncs. To remove everything, delete the app and then remove its data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Storage.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

This page, like the rest of patrickturner.net, uses Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. That applies to the website only, not the app.
